About Peggy Stewart...
Peggy is a realtor with Royal LePage Triland Realty in London Ontario. Her
special interest is in accessible housing. By far, the majority of clients
Peggy works with have special needs. Many are in wheelchairs, some are
deafened...there are many reasons to modify a house.

Starting in 1966, Peggy trained and worked in neurology departments in Canada
and in England and for the last 10 years prior to retirement, she started,
owned and operated a home health care business, specializing in providing neuro
home care in London, Ontario. Many clients were coming out of Rehab Centres and
returning to the community, and that was when Peggy started working with houses
that required modifications, or houses that were purpose-built for the client.
After retirement, Peggy obtained her real estate liscence and started
immediately to develop a special niche in accessible housing. This is the
perfect way to use all of the training and experience obtained over 37 years,
and bringing it together to find appropriate housing for clients with special
needs. Many of her clients have brain and/or spinal cord injuries...so Peggy is
still working with the same group of people that she has been for all of these
years.

In March 2007, Peggy earned the SRES designation in Canada (Seniors Real Estate
Specialist) so that she can better assist seniors with their housing needs.

About the Team...
Since earning her real estate license, Peggy has been working with people with
special needs. Because this is a new niche market in London (and
throughout Canada) it took a good two years and a lot of work, to collect and
compile information and guidelines. At the same time, Peggy was working with
different professionals in the area and now there is a main group of
professionals
who Peggy can call on.
Most of these people have made it their job to learn as much as possible about
special needs housing, whether it is in remodeling and building or in obtaining
special financing, and the list goes on. It is wonderful to have good, honest
people that Peggy, and you, can rely on.
